ToolsProof is free to use. We earn money when you click some links to software vendors and then buy. Those links are called affiliate links.
How to spot an affiliate link
- Every vendor button has a line right beside it. It says “Affiliate link” if we may earn a commission, or “Plain link to the vendor” if we earn nothing.
- A short notice at the bottom of every page says the same.
- Affiliate links are marked
rel="sponsored"in the code, so search engines know too.
What a commission can't change
- Rankings and scores. The scoring code can't read whether a link pays us.How we score.
- Which tools we list. Tools with no affiliate program are ranked the same way.
- What we say. Every pick names who it is not for and one real trade-off.
- Your price. The vendor sets the price. We add nothing to it.
