How we make money: commissions, and what they cannot change
Some vendor links pay us a commission
If you click one of those links and then buy, the vendor may pay us. That is the only way this site earns money.
Every such link has a sentence beside it that says so. A link that pays us nothing says that too.
What we earn is not part of the score
- The scoring code does not read our affiliate links. An automated check enforces this.
- We do not rank, pick or sort by commission.
- A tool with no affiliate program is scored and listed the same way.
What happens when you click
The link goes through our own address first, then to the vendor. We count the click as a plain total per page. We set no cookies, store no IP address and use no outside trackers.
What we will not do
- No countdowns, fake scarcity or made-up reviews.
- No popups and no email gate.
- No advert dressed up as advice. Any advert is labeled "Advertisement".
